Snow Blockade

Local South Normanton children took motoring concerns into their own hands recently by forming a blockade of snow in Garden Crescent, South Normanton, Derbyshire.

Around 20 local young people helped to create the snow blockade to raise their concerns of speeding vehicles in the area - Kyle Harvey and James Fletcher were two of the local supporters of this action. Local police ordered the blockade to be removed as it is an offence to block the public highway. The issue has been raised as a concern for the local authority to investigate further.
